I'm not aware of any educated person who maintains that plants and animals didn't evolve. There is an abundance of fossils. All sorts of dating techniques prove that they did not all live at the same time and die out at the same time. The lifeforms that existed in the past have changed. That is evolution. That is a fact.

There is occasionally some speculation as to how they change.
