The reason that I ask is...I have a popup stopper, Smart Popup Killer, that has a cookie manager built in...right click on the taskbar icon and an option menu comes up with cookie manager in it. I had to designate which cookies to keep and which to clear every time IE was closed . When I first got SPK it wasn't until I had designated SI's cookies as okay that I was able to retain my auto login status.

Could be something altogether different with your situation.
