Do you think some flight instructor would have just signed off on Bush's flight certificate and put him into the cockpit if he were unqualified (and thus a risk to other pilots and an expensive piece of equipment)??

I can't imagine someone passing GW along because of his Dad... That wouldn't happen at Yale, or in the military. In fact, I can't imagine him getting any special privileges!

You again avoid the point that your military idol avoided combat by his actions and was AWOL even in his limited duty.
