That's what I have wondered for 2 years. Why such incompetence and so much excuses. Most people forgot there were 4 incidents on that 911 day, not just one or two. So where was the emergency response of our national defense. They weren't exactly attacks in the middle of nowhere. They were in NYC and also in Pentagon. Not even one military jet on the air to confront any one of the other two. So, what have gone awry? Our defense went to sleep was the excuse. It was intentionally made to happen, perhaps? Sec'y of defense should have gotten the heave-ho otherwise for such lame preparedness. Instead, it was onward and forward toward Iraq, again based on lame intelligence. Are we to believe that our intelligence gathering is atrociously poor and had to rely and place high esteem on Chalabi/Iranian intel without any confirmation? So who provided the false confirmation and verification on what turned out to be bogus intel?

Is this the kind of administration that American people deserves? We'll see if American public enjoys this type leadership full of boondoggles. Sometimes I worry about the denseness of American public that was so easily duped and still cannot see it.
