Anyone see IGT on TV last night (I think it was Dateline).

I think it was the CEO who was on to respond to accusations that IGT programs its slot machines for "Near Misses" to entice the player to continue to play after just missing the jackpot.

The guy looked like an IDIOT on National TV. First he said that the
first person who was accusing IGT of this practice had no credability since he had been arrested for "fixing" slot machines to pay off for himself.

But then Dateline produced another individual that had previously retired from the Nevada's gaming oversight organization and was now actively involved in his Church, and he said the exact same thing.
THe IGT guy looked stunned by this and then proceded to claim that he did not know whether or not his company programmed the slot machines for near misses or not, but if the did then it was within the rules set forth by the Nevada's Gaming Commission.

IGT should get a new spokesman. This guy was pathetic. I do not think that this interview will have any affect on the stock price but if this guy was the CEO of the company I would be a little concerned if I were a shareholder.

Regards,
Jeff
