Paul - Before you post again on this thread, I need you to
do three things.
First, read the thread header (I've copied it below
for your convenience). It is fairly straight forward. This
might clear up most of the serious misunderstandings we
are having. I believe this misunderstanding has also
caused you to make several misguided & baseless personal
attacks toward me. I'd like that to cease immediately.
Second, please respond appropriately to my requests
regarding your post @ #2812. The links below show
my repeated requests & what I would like you to do.

Third, please explain to me how I have redefined "Bully
Pulpit". Please provide links to things I have said that
made you conclude that I "have redefined "Bully Pulpit".
Please tell me, in your own words, what you perceive
a "Bully Pulpit" to be.
Please accomplish all of this in keeping with the tenets
of the thread header.

This thread will be a place to link posts from folks who seem to cling to perceptions that defy reality even as time & events unfold in stark contrast to these stated POV's. Any subject is fair game here.
This thread was created as a place for me to freely rant & rave about reality defying POV's I see all over SI & elsewhere. However, for those so inclined, feel free to share something you have read (please link it) & discuss why you think these POV's were born of false perceptions, fervent, inflexible ideological beliefs, extreme bias, etc.
Please try to stick to facts & reality (I.E. facts & reality that are widely accepted & easily supported - not because you or your ideological peers say so).
Disagreements are welcome - even vehement disagreements. If you are going to debate differing POV's, attack the subject matter, not the person. I'll have a very low tolerance for personal attacks.
