But Carl, Irish-Americans were avid funders and supporters of the IRA. Note that they even retain the word Irish in their self-description.

The Moslems of Europe aren't going to turn into nice French boys. They have a critical mass, stick with their culture and they will enforce their religious ideology if they get a chance. For a start, they insist on wearing burkahs to school! Or veils or something. Religious freedom and all that.

Moslem Islamic Jihad will be endemic in Europe. Enoch Powell was perhaps right. Lockerbie stemmed from the demonstration outside the Libyan embassy and the murder of Constable Fletcher. That was quite a bit of blood. Sure, they Moslems are peaceable while their numbers grow. But look to Northern Ireland for what happens when push comes to shove over religion and power. And they are putatively all Christians!

Islamic Jihad is a gathering force. Nuclear-armed at that! In Pakistan anyway.
