Sensible Americans do not want a communist system in the country. However, we do want the gov to make sure Wall St doesn't rob small investors blind.

If that is true, why do "sensible Americans" allow the SEC (and its' SRO handmaidens) to engage in socialist experiments like market engineering and price setting as opposed to pursuing fraudsters?

Why do "sensible Americans [who] do not want a communist system" allow, and accept, the Federal government (to) get(ting) involved in private, contractual disputes?

Why, in recent years, have private property rights taken a back seat to anti-Constitutional, populist rhetoric if Americans are, indeed, "sensible"?
