This is hilarious. One moment you're talking about how we should expand the military in order to take over Saudi Arabia's oil production, and in the other you admit that the draft military was "confused and without direction".

If we bring back the draft, we will bring back the confusion. A draft drags a lot of people who don't want to be in the military into a position where that they don't want to be in. The result is not pretty, and would not be as effective the military we already have.

Since the military we already have has proven itself to be incapable of pacifying Iraq, any draftee military would be worse at pacifying Saudi Arabia (the home of the shrines of Islam). The resulting guerilla war would be woefully stacked against us.

It's a good thing that no one would sign up to help us, and that our leaders couldn't make a mistake that bad right after the Iraq fiasco.
