<There is no contradiction between freedom and conscription.>

Sarmad, freedom means individuals decide for themselves, using that free will process, what they will do with their own body, provided they don't damage other people or their property or freedoms.

Conscription means somebody else tells you to do what they want you to do and if you don't do what they say, they will gaol you or otherwise attack you or punish you. Specifically, they want you to sacrifice your actual life, to the extent that you might end up actually dead. Dead is definitely not freedom to exert one's will.

There is a complete contradiction between conscription and freedom.
