I didn't say that foreign policy didn't affect Americans. My point is it does not typically affect Americans directly. Kerry is running on the effects of Bush's policy, which most Americans don't really understand to begin with. Bush is running on stopping bombs being blown up in our towns as we all saw on 911.

If Kerry continues to think he can win by trusting Americans to figure out the effects of a foreign policy, he will lose. If Bush is anywhere near Kerry in November, I think he will win.

I could be wrong, of course - but I don't think I am. Kerry's current strategy is not working and that is why Bush is still ahead, despite problems that would easily have taken out many others.
