Moreover, I think that to consider that terrorism somehow won't affect the economy is compelling evidence of an utter failure to use critical thinking. Or perhaps you don't recall the economic consequences of 9/11?

Perhaps you'll wake up when Saudi oil is no longer relatively cheap and plentiful due to terror there and, as a direct result, you have to pay $3-5 for a gallon of gas, double or more for airplane tickets, real estate and the stock markets plunge, incredible inflation, much, much higher interest rates, etc.
