Stockman..Makes me think it could be your connection. I really don't want to be the defender of e-trade on this thread, but today [and all week], the connections have been fast and execution/confirmations also timely...Today, I started trading right at market open, took probably 20 seconds to load page and 5 more seconds to the order screen. I am using Netcom, 28.8 connection,p-166 micron, and calling from Calif...Also, my Ca. money market account is getting upgraded to include unlimited check writing [with no $100 minimum] and better interest rates. BUT...make your concerns known, because this last round of dissatisfaction from e-trade's clients has seemed to make a noticeable difference in system performance, although it must be reliable and consistent for total confidence in the company to be established and maintained ...
