Your analogy is completely inappropriate. We never supported Stalin in a war with another country. In WWII we were allies against a common enemy.

The difference between a separate entity and a puppet are clear too. We never were able to get the Soviets to do our bidding. In fact during the war and post war period the Soviets expanded their empire and communism. They were largely able to do that because we took care of the western front for them. In a way we were a strange ally to Stalin...but it was not by design.

In the case of Saddam he was in the position of asking the US for permission. That would be a puppet. He even asked for permission to invade Kuwait. Many think Saddam thought he had our permission in a defacto manner, as the ambassador relayed that the US took no exception to his invasion.

Personally, I think your posting anti-American lies on Memorial Day is sick.

I'm posting the truth on Memorial Day...and any other day...it's an American right...and duty.
