Thanks Searle; as always your opinion is appreciated. This high oil price will eventually effect the whole economy if it continues at these levels. The Saudis are in a corner. Five or six recent attacks by Al Queda aimed primarily at any softening of their stance to hold production levels and a furor from the American taxpayer if they don't raise production. Which way will they go? It sounds to me like the Saudi sheiks way of life could be at risk. Bush could have not planned it better to inflame the whole area in civil war and need Uncle Sam to restore order. That's what we are good at, Isn't it?
