BCB, Did you catch Bob Dole's interview with Chris Matthews last wk? Matthews asked him re Kerry taking a movie camera along to Vietnam. Dole answered that Kerry did get great footage for his campaign material, then he said "maybe he was planning to run for office at that time, maybe not...he has those medals...but never bled". I sincerely hope someone from the Bush Campaign heard that quote and will use it as the election draws near. No one in the country has more credibility than Bob Dole. He would never utter those words unless he knew for a fact that they're true. As far as Kerry's medals, it looks as tho' a clever person could milk the system in Vietnam. Scratches qualified for a purple heart. At the time, he was planning to run for office in Mass, he probably never dreamed his military record would get the microscopic examination currently underway.
