But you are sadly discounting the motivation of many, I suspect the vast majority, of the volunteer military. I am saying that if necessary the oil consuming nations will occupy Saudia Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, etc in order to protect oil export facilities. If Saudia Arabia's oil production stopped the result would be akin to the 1930's depression. The occupiers would not have to look hard for the Islamofascists. They would be attacking us while we restored the oil export facilities.
