According to the article, precious metal (gold & etc.) and shares prices will shoot up in the face of rising interest rates mainly because of panic and not knowing what to do. Does it make sense? It makes perfect sense. look back to the 70's the last time there was a gold bull. what you need is a steep yield curve and negative real rates. a weak dollar also helps <g>
