Sondo,TA, Calculated Risk, BellBoy and All:

This morning I decided to throw in the towel, at least for now. I covered all at a $12 loss/sh. Interstingly my first 97 shorting loss but unfortunately a big one. Still ahead for the year at least and meeting my limited "retirement hobby" goals.

For now I will be happy to see DDIM fly and then I can come back and short again. Starting Monday and over the next few weks I will not have much opportunity to "watch the market." Thus for me it is not prudent to make any investments right now in DDIM.

I think the final straw for me was the Pyramid deal. It does seem like a logical fit as opposed to the deals recently made by Zitel. With the hoopla surrounding Y2K who knows, DDIM could hit 40 or more. I surely do not know as witnessed by my past actions.

I will remain an active reader of this therad and who knows right now what my next move in DDIM will be.

No longer short, No longer patient.

Good Luck to all longs and shorts.
