The customer will be able to wander into a store, buy a machine and walk out with SP2 installed." Sounds interesting. Call me a glass is half empty type but I can see the possibility of lots and lots of problems with that "install in the store" approach. XP SP2 looks like another one of those MS patch situations where it will probably be prudent to watch the initial fallout before deciding to install it.
