Quit objecting to clean fuels technology. That should never again be a partisan issue. We obviously need to get off the Arab oil and there is only one way to really do it. We cannot drill our way out in the US and experts say that on or about 2016 demand for oil will be higher than anything the world can supply. Therefore, let's start now to prepare. Sure we'll continue using oil, but we don't need to be so dependent on it. That means every desert wasteland in the US should be given over to energy farming. It will provide millions of new jobs and improve our standard of living. The government owns millions of acres of perfect desert land already and they could easily lease it for free or cheap to enterprising energy farmers, plus give incentives to consumers to buy it. The only thing standing in the way is the Bush-Cheney Big Energy cartel lobby and their current grip on power.
