Jeff, no one objects when wild rumors are started in support of a stock price, no matter how untrue they may be. For example back in December it was claimed that Colin Powell was on the Zitel board of directors and would direct huge DOD contracts to Zitel. I received email threats of legal action for "damaging" the stock price when I posted on SI that I did not believe the Powell story. Of course I was correct in my claim, but that did not seem to be relevant, it was only relevant that I "damaged" the stock price.
