[ Retail Buyers ]

Yes Mark, although it is painful to watch, I believe the current ORFR run is completely due to retail investors who read IBD and the Motley Fool. Yesterday's volume was only 600k. Since ORFR does not yet trade under the new SEC rules, we can infer that 300k shares were bought, and 300k were sold. The average retail investor might buy 1,000 shares, so we only need 300 of them to explain yesterday's movement. What is the newstand circulation of IBD? Today we are seeing buyers who receive IBD through the mail, and buyers who read the Motley Fool last night. Who is left to buy next week?

It is sad and painful to watch how the little guys buy the news. I don't expect institutions to come in at a higher price. The institutions scrubbed ORFR prior to the IPO. Those that liked the company bought at 8 1/2. Maybe now they are thinking about taking profits, as the risk/reward balance has shifted.
