I think the news is very good. I'm sure the market spin will see it differently. Good news gets sold, bad news gets sold. It takes incredible news to make any dent in the negativity we are seeing from both the analyst community and the media. I'm not saying that all is right with the world, we all know better, but I think the negative bias to all news is growing old. Most of the companies we follow here are being very conservative and still producing solid results. It hasn't mattered one bit for the last 5 months.

Most business people I converse with all speak of improvements they are seeing. Almost before they finish saying something upbeat, they immediately toss in a comment about it's too soon to draw "anything" positive (for the long term) from today's improvements! I don't think I've ever encountered more negative sentiment (from basically positive people) then what I've seen and heard lately. Caution is one thing, down right pessimistic is another. Everyone sees the clouds and almost no one sees the silver linings anymore. It's a shame!
