a read -- VoCable and Its Competitors (includes NTOP):

This is an excellent read; a really good backbone piece about cable telephony. Net2Phone shows up, is praised, and is discussed in a germane way, in the main article and the side bar article (towards the end of each). This is worth printing out and reading. I feel if you want to take the time to read it, it's possible to step ahead in what you see as relevant, because this takes a good look at the big picture and at the specific picture for ntop -- because this looks at cable telephony at the moving edge.

We were treated well here by the writer.

["And everyone knows cable operators view publicity with about as much enthusiasm as seeing a satellite dish on a suburban home. That’s why you might actually see cable VoIP in 2004 before you read about it. But that’s another story for later in the year."]
