Great story.
As far as Daly...that's why I say the Democratic party sure has changed. Back the the Republicans and the Democrats were the establishment vs the war protestors. Now a days the war protestors seem to be all Democrats (much of that due to Bush hating of course). The polarization of the parties wasn't the big deal either. Both sides actually respected each other to a certain extent. Then again, the nations morality has changed a lot too.
The Democratic party, now a days, is way far left of what it was then and the Republican party today is much more like the Democratic party was back then, IMHO.
