Because lets be totally honest here. Neither of us is voting for a guy that we truly feel is best thing since sliced bread. We are both voting for the guy we think is going to do the least amount of damage.

That's the sad truth. I wish I could get excited over a candidate on either side, or any side, but I can't. I also agree with mark's view that you kind of have to let the incumbent do his thing for a while and keep your mouth shut.

And you know, I did for a really long time. But now its an election year and I think it is fair game to look back over the decisions of the past few years and say, I'm not happy with how things were done and I'm looking for a change. I wish I had a better alternative than Kerry, but I don't.
