You continue to slander our war heros shamelessly.
Kerry never abandoned anyone and you know it. Further, if you read his 1971 testimony you know he was right on about what was really going on and did not blame the troops, but the war itself and the top brass. In fact he took responsibility himself for what he onsidered "atrocities", that is free fire zones where we shot first and asked questions later.

Those were the rules of engagement then, and Kerry's testimony is one of the reasons the military has reformed itself. Certainly if we know we're firing at enemy, we go should go all out, but we shouldn't have been wiping our entire villages just because we suspected they might be helping the VC. That was criminal, though at the time it was just the way things were done. Kerry deserves another medal for pointing that out and helping to reform our military.

All that said, though Kerry stands by his testimony he does regret some of the stronger language, that is if it hurt the feelings of fellow vets. he certainly didn't mean to disparage them and has fought his whole career to better the lives of vets. You know it and everyone knows it.
