Not viable short of a revolution. Even if someone who wanted to enact that somehow got elected (which is impossible) the shadow government would shoot them.

I watched the LP convention on c-span (some of it) and I saw some people who were probably pot heads in it to legalize drugs but I didn't see any obvious prostitutes. Aren't they getting onboard to make that legal? They could cut out their pimps that way. Maybe they couldn't get off work to come. <g>

But realistically. The fringe element does not appeal to the mainstream which is where the real support is. The LP has to address that even if it means reshaping the LP party to be more in step with the mainstream. otherwise the LP will stay a fringe party and never grow up to be a viable third party.

PS And we need a third party badly now. I am looking for someone to vote for in 2004!
