Correction: In my post, I mistakenly typed patent 5,639,639 when I meant 5,639,613. This patent covers the use of telomerase for cancer prognostics.
Fred Puppet indicated 5,639,613 was not a Geron patent, but in fact, it's exclusively licensed to Geron. No fault of Fred's. As I've indicated in my prior post, a patent search won't necessarily tell you about exclusive licensees.
Sorry for the error.
