Cary, considering that device yields @ 0.13uM in 2001 were
somewhere around 65% and now are somewhere close to 95%
I'd say that wafer equivalency starts are not necessarily
accurate, if there is a 30%+ increase in devices per
wafer and one must also consider that 0.18uM devices were the state of the art geometry in 2001 so there are more devices per wafer real estate now.....
