It is really very funny that so many people simply can't accept the reality that their boy was an Iranian spy.

They knew this guy had major weight behind him in DC, and there's no way they would go for him unless they had him fair and square. The suspicion has been there for a long time, obviously, but there was no move until they could back it up. The conspiracy theories just don't make sense: nobody would hang their ass out so far for so little gain without evidence to back it up.

It would be much better for Chalabi's backers to cut their losses and move on, but they just can't do it.
