Yes you are right. That is the one case being investigated as a homicide.

Now this is what the post I replied to said:

"Did the UN say anything about the Iraqis shooting US prisoners in the Back??? That's what I thought, fuuuck the UN "

Notice the plural for prisoners. One of course is one too many. But this person is trying to say systematic arresting, torturing and killing of Iraqi prisoners is excused because of this one incident.

And I am very sure that anyone would consider it an outrage if the killers of this US soldier (if a trial establishes their guilt), are punished in the same way that killers of Iraqi prisoners have been punished. Demotion in rank, and an early discharge from the army.
