You can say the same of the suicide bombers themselves. Are you so sensitive about them too?

C'mon, Nadine, you know better than that. Corrie and the suicide bombers can't be compared.

Rachel Corrie did not murder a bunch of innocents peacefully eating pizza when she died. And she was not manipulated/brainwashed into her death like most of the youthful suicide bombers are--her death was in all likelihood an accident, not a suicide.

I do feel sympathy for the suicide bombers who happen to be children, though I don't know exactly where to place it since the families seem to accept their murder and, indeed, think of it as A Great Thing. Perhaps sympathy is not the appropriate response, it is sorrow for the loss of an innocent life.

No sympathy/sorrow for the adult suicide bombers, however.
