Disagree with that...attention to Reagan this week may not be a good thing for Bush ... The thing that made Reagan so popular with Americans was his character...his honesty...and his strength with humor. It shouldn't take a high IQ for people when they watch and listen to all the clips from the past with Reagan to make their own observations about then and now. I don't think GWBush will be found lacking ...other than, of course, his lack of the glib tongue. The thing that is striking to me is how much we, as a society, have become uncivil. It becomes glaringly apparent where it is coming from as well. All we have to do is see from whose lips the snarling, nasty, vituperative words gush .... I believe we will see it isn't from the Ronald Reagan Republicans.
