I bumped into Rob McEwen (Goldcorp)at Canadian Tire today. Small world. He was waiting in line to return a pressure washer (I think) while my kids were running circles around him <g>. We talked for a bit. Nice guy.
He strongly feels that gold will not break out until after the elections and will remain in the 375-450 price range. He thinks there might be a spike in the next few months but didn't mention why (perhaps because of seasonal price movements which he says he pays attention to). He reaffirmed that Goldcorp will not be selling any of their gold this year.

Other points of discussion:

- has heard of Silicon Investor
- isn't familiar with CKG but remembers Fransisco Gold
- isn't familiar with CC and Ormetal Report (but is now)<g>
- likes NG and OZN
- didn't seem too enthusiastic about RUP (which is adjacent to Red Lake property). If Rupert has gold which their
holes haven't suggested yet, they would have to dig 5000 ft deep.
- really likes Guyana Goldfields and their news on Friday
