And let me give a little education. Another moronic statement by you:

Of course it could go either way. Jean Carnahan won after her husband was killed in a plane crash. Mondale lost after Wellstone was killed.

Do you want to know why Mondale lost that election? Did you watch any of the memorial for Wellstone? Democrats and Republicans gathered to honor the man. Yes, Republicans can honor a man that they don't necessarily agree with if the man has strong convictions and stands behind them. Something sorely lacking in the Democratic party as witnessed not very far into the memorial. Many of the Democrats attending booed comments by Republican speakers. Many of the Democratic speakers, including Wellstone's very own son turned it into a political rally for all to see. Some of the Democrats with an ounce of integrity were embarrassed by the event. And Republicans were incensed at the pitiful display of politics at a solemn event.

Based on your insensitive comments, I'm sure you would have been cheering the political comments and booing the Republican speakers. And it is people such as yourself which will cause your party to lose again this November. Just watch!
