And as for the military having to "beg for every dollar"? Doesn't something like 50 cents on every tax dollar go to defense? How much more do they need? (Maybe they can redirect funds that are lining the pockets of the defense contractors) What are you, a doctor of disinformation and propaganda? A simple web search would tell you how the Federal Budget is spent: warresisters.org dolf.com dolf.com Entitlements account for over 50% of all Federal spending, while defense accounts for approx 20%. heritage.org Defense spending accounts for about half of DISCRETIONARY spending. If you want to get Federal spending under control, then why don't you look at entitlements and see if some of the fat and corruption can be eliminated there? You would expect me to have my facts straight before I post out here. I spend quite a bit of time trying to confirm my facts. I expect the same from you... Hawk
