Very interesting that so few Dems had a good word to say about Reagan when he ran for office and while in office. The NYT is still grudgingly admitting that he might, just might, have done something good during his eight years in office.

President Carter is still to be heard from in any meaningful way. His only comment is that he remembers Reagan because the latter cut short his career as President of the USA and caused him to retire to the peanut farm.

So, Michael, Jordan is most likely to be right and you wrong even if those polls might indicate the opposite, (especially the rigged CBS poll). So keep on hoping, Mike, and don't be so churlish. For the Dems, this too will pass away but it will most likely be way past November, 2004.
