Why did the Soviets spend the same percent of a dwindling economy on defense? Why were there miserable economic conditions? Why was there the oppression of the communist way of life? If you knew how all these things interacted, you'd understand why the Soviet Union collapsed. Since you don't seem to, and are predisposed to be a political hatemonger towards those things you disagree with, you haven't got a clue.
