re AMGN. Interesting stock at current prices, IMO. I considered it a short when it approached 70$ but now the stock has retreated while business has been very strong. I think they should continue to grow going forward, based on what I see in the pipeline and Aranesp strength. Forward PE looks as low as it has been for a long time. I consider taking a position as well. I also think that AMGN's jnuior partner NPSP is worth a look for a speculative investor.

I continue to hold ABT (although I have sold the shares in spinoff HSP) because I think that the current pipeline strength and the rebound in the Diagnostic business more than offset the risk from patent challenges going forward.
