How about adding to the 825 plus US military killed in the Iraq war the 60 plus US "civilians" killed in Iraq, the 35 US military who have committed suicide because of Iraq duty; the 125 plus US military and several US civilians killed in Afghanistan. The total is now over 1000 not counting serious injuries--approaching 4000 and medivacs- now approaching 22,000. The number of Iraqi civilians killed is around 10,000; this is equal to over 100,000 in the US on a comparative population basis and does not include Iraqi military and insurgents killed. What I do not understand is how we could pull out our best troops from Afghanistan to go to Iraq and make other obvious mistakes in hunting down OBL and then proclaim the terror war is proceeding well.
