John, I was thinking that this loan stuff might have been alright a while ago, but at this point it's crazy. Bad enough with my margin, but I can stay abreast of this. Some of this debt supposedly occured to fund 41 k plans where companies match part of it. I guess with some of those funds up 31% for the year, it might have been a good deal. As long as they did not go overboard, might have been better than spending it on junk. People are paying it off and still have the stocks in their funds. If you can afford the payments, it might be forced savings and an interest rate under 10% might be ok for those people, I don't know. But with the market that high, I would not try it.

Yes profit taking is the word on wall street today. But let'ssee if it gets better once the futures close. The buying action seems to be at the close lately, but with Friday coming up, I don't know. Well, Cpq came down again so I picked up some more after all this afternoon. It's already up from where I got in.
I am getting disconnected a lot again. I will answer Margaret's post if I can and then wait a while.

Sonny
