As a reader but non-poster to this thread, I would like to enlist the help of some of the sharpshooters on this thread. While I think I am learning a great deal, certain aspects of the options are still perplexing. I am trying to interpret options data on LCI for the past few days and do not know what to make of the options activity.

Close to 9400 CALLS are in the OI while only roughly 2400 PUTS OI. IS this disparity significant? Furthermore, the Sep22.5s and Sep25 make up 6400 of the 9400 CALLS. This in itself looks real strange. Options activity since 8/15 looks suspect. Can anyone look at this company, a long distance carrier, and make an educated assessment of what may be afoot here??

The financials look real good, IMO with revenue growth from $464M to 1.1B in the space of 3 years. I can't find anything problematic about this company and have no reason for its price decline. More importantly, it looks like it is the beneficiary of the recents events in the Michigan Ameritech long distance debacle.

No hype is meant on this stock and I have tried to keep the data provided brief such as not to influence anyone. More detailed info can be found through the usual websites.

Thanks to whomever is kind enough to provide the desired feedback.
