Kerry and McCain are very close friends. They teamed on the CAFE Standards bill (that Bushies p[ollution lobbyists noxiously defeated) and the long investigation and normalizing of Vietnam (which Bushie "vets" attack as making them "traitors) plus many other bills.

McCain has come to Kerry's defense against the odious rightwing slander and Kerry did the same in 2000. McCain is as good a friend as Kerry has in the Senate. Nobody is going to doubt that. They're very close and have no problem working together. Those two together could do this country so much good. Together, they're a bit like Reagan and JFK getting together and co-leading the country. Unless the "corrupt" (as McCain calls them) Bushies spoil it all by cheating again to "win".
