Judge delays shareholder vote on merger of Iamgold and Wheaton River ( The Ca adian Press ) TORONTO, Jun 08, 2004 (The Canadian Press via COMTEX) -- An Ontario judge issued a last-minute order to Iamgold Corp. on Tuesday, telling it to delay its shareholder vote on a proposed merger with Wheaton River Minerals Ltd. until June 29 - three weeks later than planned. The decision by Justice Alexandra Hoy of Ontario Superior Court was issued Tuesday morning, about 90 minutes before Iamgold shareholders were to vote on the deal. More later.
