You cannot argue for discrimination. Certainly you can. I wouldn't but I don't think such arguments should be illegal or otherwise forcibly disallowed. More importantly you can argue for allowing some discrimination without actually arguing for discrimination, just as someone might argue for the right of a communist or nazi party to exist without arguing for communism or nazism.
