It's the least the French could do, considering the U.S. military saved their sorry asses during WWII. In fact, they should have shown some gratitude many mos ago, when we asked for their help in Iraq. Now as then, Americans have given the last full measure to accomplish a necessary task that the French lack the backbone to get done themselves.
