Hey! It's NEVER too late to celebrate capitalism!

Although I've tried to be active with a number of the committees that were involved in proposals where the rebuilding of the World Trade Center was concerned, recent updates have eluded me. At one point, though, there was a proposal to put a Museum of Capitalism adjacent to the lower (retail/commercial) area. I hope that plan is still under consideration.

Is it, or should it be, surprising that various elements of New York's state and city government wanted to put some sort of multicultural, touchy-feely, "awareness" garbage in the new structure?
