Those fools are those folks who believe (rightly or wrongly)
that Intel will earn say $5.25 in 97 and over $6.00 in
98. They are basing this on a foolish belief that near total
market dominance, great new products in the pipeline,
superb manufacturing and outstanding management in the
premier industrial and home product of the age might
produce good results. They foolishly believe that if
earnings grow at say 20% a year a PE of 20 to 25 might be
put on Intel's earnings. So these fools believe that if
they are patient, in about 18 months they might make a 50% -
70% profit on their money. What fools. Perhaps we should
take up a collection for the misguided sots.

No one knows the future with certainty, but I'd love to
hear a list of companies with better long term prospects.
I myself bought Intel in 1983 at the then ridiculous price
of $3.00 per share. I too have been a fool.

Oh yes, some of the people buying now are the short sellers
who are being squeezed by the rising price of the shares.
I might characterize those folks as fools.

Good investing to all,
Burt
